Recently built using a local stone, Il Pino is in keeping with the style of old farmhouses in the area, simply and tastefully furnished and with all comforts. The private swimming pool has fabulous views over the surrounding hills. The ideal place to enjoy a relaxing holiday in close contact with nature.

IN THE AREA :
Once an ancient, Etruscan city, then Roman, Volterra is a stunning town set along a ridge that dominates the surrounding hills. It is worth taking time to explore its bustling streets, squares, and medieval buildings and visit the many craft and local produce shops. Not to be missed are the famous alabaster workshops. This precious stone has been worked in Volterra since the 5th century. The famous Etruscan statue ‘Ombra della Sera’, or ‘Shadow of the Night’, is on show here in one of Italy’s major archaeological museums, the Museo Guarnacci. |
