The extensive gardens and large swimming pool are the perfect places to relax and enjoy the peace and beauty of the surrounding countryside. This welcoming property still maintains much of its original look, dating back to the 1960’s, and is made up of two independent apartments joined by an external staircase.
Visit the local villages, such as Querceto, where you will be transported back to medieval times as you walk through the winding streets or why not try the local cuisine at the ‘trattoria’ run by the villa’s owners. |

IN THE AREA :
Montecatini Val di Cecina - this delightful medieval village is built on a hill top allowing fabulous views over the valley towards Cecina and Volterra. The Belforti tower, the medieval buildings, the praetorian villa, the old gates and the village spring are all worth a visit.
Of interest in the area are – Querceto Castle (a medieval hamlet in the woods surrounding the church of San Giovanni), the Sassa (an ancient, well preserved settlement), the old copper mines (near Montecatini), the old guard post for the Camporciano mine and Miemo castle. Nearest cities: Volterra 20 km Pisa 70 km, San Gimignano 45 km, Siena 75 km. |
